Paul Stevens founded the National Circle of Friends (NCOF), in January of 2003. The
initial purpose of the Circle of Friends was to create an organization that
provided networking opportunities for urban professionals. At NCOF’s
inception, our first networking event attracted 75 individuals and each event
thereafter grew exponentially. We now have a membership of over 3,000 people.
We have a unique and diverse organization our multicultural membership is
predominately of African decent. Our members consist of entrepreneurs,
business professionals, politicians, educators, and artists. NCOF has evolved
into a multilevel organization that not only provides networking opportunities
and social events for America’s urban professionals we also have very strong
ties to several community-based organizations.
Our relationship with the community is an effort to help shape the future of
America and to ensure our members have an awareness of the issues and
political landscape. NCOF is committed to being involved in local politics
and maintaining a strong urban professional community. |
